- Initial Heating: Turn the temperature control dial to the highest setting (10) to begin melting the wax.
- Monitoring: Allow the wax to reach a syrup-like consistency, which typically takes about 20-30 minutes.
- Adjusting Temperature: Once melted, reduce the temperature setting to maintain the desired consistency. For Satin Smooth waxes, a medium heat setting is often appropriate.

- Safety First: Before application, test the wax temperature by applying a small amount to the inside of your wrist.
- Consistency Check: The wax should be warm, not hot, and should spread easily without being runny.
